Scones Ingredients 3 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 4-1/2 tsps baking powder 3/4 cup butter 1-1/8 cups milk Method Preheat electric oven to 450°F (230°C). Sift flour, salt, baking powder into mixing bowl, add fruits if being used. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter. Add all the milk and stir only until all flour is dampened. Drop batter, 2 tbsps per time, onto ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 10 - 12 minutes, serve hot. |
